To secure your charter dates please pay $250.00 as deposit to RnR Charters Ltd within 7 days of booking or the day may be re allocated.
The deposit is refundable if your trip is cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions otherwise two weeks notice is required.
Payments may be made by online banking into ASB Bank account 123-094 0-149087-01, using the departure date and your name as our reference to your payment.

Please supply us with a list of names and contact information for everyone coming on the trip please and for those interested we will include them on our monthly e-newsletter if they supply us with their email addresses.
We do not give any personal information out to anyone unless directly needed for the charter and if requested will remove it from the database.
If you have your photo taken with a nice fish, we love to post pics up on the RnR Charters Ltd website or Facebook group. Please email us your name and the weight of the fish. If you have taken a nice photo or video clip yourself, we can post that up too.
Departure from the Alamar Crescent pontoon is normally shortly after daybreak (Summer-time around 6.30-6.45am or 7.00am winter-time)
Wayne will meet you there just prior to departure. Please take your gear down onto the pontoon ready for loading.
Returning to the pontoon after a full day trip is usually around 5.00 to 5.15pm, (These times may vary)

Weather, Please call us the day before the trip to check on the suitability of the weather at the destination which can be different to the mainland.
Rods are available on the boat, Snapper rod hire is $20.00 each and light game rods are $30.00 each per day. We have basic tackle for the rods, but if you have your own rigs you are welcome to bring those. Rod hire covers the cost of basic stray line tackle and maintenance only. All tackle loaned or hired is on the understanding that if you lose it, or break it, you pay for it. Rods lost over the side incur a replacement charge of $300.00 (incl GST) and we appreciate payment to the skipper on the day of the loss.
Bait, Wayne recommends approx 2-3 Kg of Pilchards each, plus a mixture of, Squid and a bag or two of Mullet and a couple of Skipjack Tuna, also one or two large berley bombs and salt ice to take your fish home chilled. To pre-order, please let us know proir to departure and we will have ready for you on the boat on the morning of your trip.
Food, Bring anything easy to eat such as bacon and egg pie, filled rolls, sandwiches and chips etc. We have a fridge on board so can keep things cool and an oven to heat pies etc.
Drinks, Please bring your choice of refreshments in plastic bottles or cans. Tea and coffee is complimentary.
Clothing, If it is a wet, chilly day, you may need to bring a waterproof jacket and warm jumper.
Footwear, No black gumboots or black soled shoes please and shoes you can slip off easily are best as we have a ‘no shoes below’ rule on board.
Other, Don’t forget your hat, sunnies, insect repellent, sunscreen, camera etc.  
Prone to sea sickness? If you need to take a seasickness remedy, take it early, even the night before.
We have found the Paihia Chemists seasick remedy works really well when used that way.

RnR is comfortably appointed and ideally suited for four to six anglers, sleeping four.

 

RnR is available for competitions and light game fishing.

 

For your comfort we have a well-equipped galley and toilet and shower below.

Divers and swimmers can enjoy a convenient fresh water deck shower at the rear of the cockpit.

Fishing rods are available for hire, if required.

 

RnR is surveyed and licensed with the Maritime New Zealand and Wayne has many years’ experience as a skipper and knows some great places to take you fishing and diving.
